Happy Birthday.. to me? 

Since it’s my birthday, I was trying to think of what to give you.  After much thought, it finally came to me. What a better way to celebrate my birthday than to give you, my loyal friend and fan some free music? That’s right, some free music!!

On Saturday, May 11th at 10 a.m., I had the honor of serving as the commencement speaker of Coahoma Community College’s graduation ceremony.  Over 300 Associate degrees were conferred and over 4,500 proud parents along with family and friends were in attendance.

A very special thank you to Dr. Vivian Presley for such a wonderful opportunity. Again, graduates, I wish you all continued success and I truly hope you enjoy my music.

Words cannot express how thankful I am right now.  The last few years of my life have been extremely eventful and challenging.  From acquiring my Ph.D. to learning how to properly sing and write great songs, my days have been very long and dark.  But who am I kidding?  I LOVED every bit of it!!
